TV Agent Ashley Holland Exits CAA for WME (Exclusive)
At CAA, Holland worked on teams for clients including Ava DuVernay, Eva Longoria and Helen Hunt.
CAA agent Ashley Holland has joined WME’s scripted television department, The Hollywood Reporter has exclusively learned.
The Stanford alumna began her career as an intern at CAA in 2009 and rose to agent in 2013, where she has worked with clients including Ava DuVernay, Eva Longoria, Helen Hunt, playwright Katori Hall (The Mountaintop), Insecure executive producer and director Melina Matsoukas, comedienne and writer Robin Thede, The Americans writer Tracey Scott Wilson and actress/writer Diarra Kilpatrick (ABC digital series American Koko).
A key member of CAA’s multicultural development group, Holland appeared onstage at the agency’s Amplify summit last month to present findings from a new diversity study commissioned in-house.
Holland’s move echoes that of agent Chelsea Radler, who also joined WME from CAA’s TV lit department earlier this year.
