TV Casting Director Vicki Suchin Dies at 59

Among hundreds of pilots, series and telefilms she cast was "Taxi," "Who's the Boss" and "Married ... With Children."

Vicki Rosenberg Suchin, a television casting director for more than 25 years, died of natural causes in her sleep on March 8 at her home in Tarzana. She was 59.

Suchin was the wife of personal manager Milt Suchin and the sister of Imagine Entertainment president Michael Rosenberg.

A native of Hewlett, N.Y., Suchin began her entertainment career with producers Linda Otto and Joan Barnett in 1976 before moving to the TV casting departments at NBC, Paramount and Columbia TriStar Television. Among the hundreds of pilots, series and telefilms she cast was Taxi, Who’s the Boss, Married … With Children and Judging Amy.

Most recently, Suchin launched her own company, Off the Chain Jewels, a line of vintage pieces that she designed.

In addition to her husband and brother, Suchin is survived by her son Zachary and another brother, Robert.
