Katrina Jones, who comes over from Vimeo, will head the streaming company's new inclusivity and diversity programs.

Twitch on Thursday announced that Katrina Jones will be the streaming service's first official head of diversity and inclusion. Also announced were the hires of Michelle Weaver as CEO and Sudarshana Rangachary as chief human resources officer.

Jones comes to the company from Vimeo, where she held a similar position overseeing inclusion and diversity initiatives. While at Vimeo, she created the company’s first-ever diversity strategy and worked to foster a more inclusive corporate environment. Prior to Vimeo, Jones held a similar position at Accenture. In addition to her new role at Twitch, she also serves as an adjunct assistant professor at NYU Wagner Graduate School of Public Service, where she teaches the class "Leading Talent Development."

Rangachary will begin in her new position at Twitch's San Francisco headquarters on Sept. 17, while Weaver and Jones will start on Oct. 1.

Weaver — with 25 years of experience as an exec at such companies as Stitch Fix, Axiom, Gap and game publisher Electronic Arts — most recently served two years at Hired, a talent platform where she tripled recurring revenue. She is replacing CFO John Sutton, who started at Twitch in November 2012. Weaver will report directly to COO Sara Clemens and will lead the global finance and IT teams at Twitch.

Rangachary most recently worked at Gap, Inc. as vp human resources. She also will report to Clemens, and will lead the people and workplace teams at Twitch.
