Two sit on couch for 'Treatment'; Nordling 'Heals'

Hope Davis and John Mahoney have been tapped to co-star on the second season of HBO's drama "In Treatment." Meanwhile, Jeffrey Nordling will co-star opposite Jada Pinkett Smith in TNT's pilot "Time Heals."

"Treatment" chronicles the weekly sessions of psychoanalyst Paul Weston (Gabriel Byrne) with several of his patients, as well as his visits to his own therapist.

Davis, repped by UTA and Kipperman Management, will play Mira, a high-powered lawyer and former patient of Weston's who blames him for being single and childless. Mahoney will play Bill, a self-confident CEO who finds his life getting away from him. He is repped by ICM.

The Sony TV-produced "Heals" centers on Nancy Hawthorne (Pinkett Smith), a strong but caring director of nursing at Charlotte Mercy Hospital in North Carolina.

Nordling, repped by APA, will play Tom Wakefield, the director of medicine.(partialdiff)
