From Bono and Tim Cook to you

At the end of Apple's big iPhone and Apple Watch event this morning U2 took the stage to perform a song to close the show — and then Apple CEO Tim Cook and U2 singer Bono announced that the band's latest album was coming exclusively to iTunes.

Calling it the "largest album release of all time," Cook touted that Songs of Innocence would be available across 119 countries to the more than half a billion iTunes customers. Current iTunes customers can download the album now, or stream it on the company's iTunes Radio service as well as on Beats Music. The new album will be exclusive on Apple's products through Oct. 13.
