'Ugly Betty's' Michael Urie to Star in Off-Broadway Production of 'Angels in America'

The Pulitzer Prize-winning show has been extended for five weeks.

Ugly Betty's Michael Urie will star in the off-Broadway production of Angels in America.

Urie and Adam Driver (Mrs. Warren's Profession) will play Prior Walter and Louis Ironson respectively, beginning Feb. 2, 2011. They'll appear in the lead roles for a five-week extension of the show through the end of March, Signature Theater Company told the New York Times.

Urie first appeared in the off-Broadway production of The Temperamentals in 2008.

Christian Borle and Star Trek's Zachary Quinto currently star in Angels in America.

The show is about AIDS and relationships in the 1980s.
