Uni, Meyers land trio for romantic comedy


Hunter Parrish, Zoe Kazan and Lake Bell have joined the cast of Universal's untitled Nancy Meyers project.

The romantic comedy, toplined by Meryl Streep, Alec Baldwin and Steve Martin, follows a woman dealing with empty-nest syndrome who is torn between her ex-husband (Baldwin) and a male friend (Martin).

Parrish plays Streep's youngest child, who is graduating from college and about to head to the big city. Kazan is the middle child, who is about to move to Los Angeles and has a hard time dealing with the possibility of her parents reuniting.

Bell plays Baldwin's young wife.

Scott Rudin is producing with Meyers, who wrote the screenplay and is directing.

Parrish, repped by Endeavor and Management 360, appears on "Weeds"; Kazan, repped by Gersh and Parseghian Planco, is in "Revolutionary Road"; Bell, repped by UTA and the Burstein Co., appeared in "Pride and Glory." (partialdiff)
