Uni promotes Stephanie Testa

Named senior vp of corporate alliances, UP&L

Stephanie Testa has been promoted to senior vp of corporate alliances, Universal Partnerships & Licensing at Universal, where she reports to UP&L president Stephanie Sperber.

In her new role, Testa will be responsible for development of global brand alliances across Universal's various divisions, including motion pictures, home entertainment, staged productions and theme parks. In addition to continuing oversight of new business development, she will be responsible for the managing Universal’s portfolio of blue chip partners.

Before joining UP&L, Testa served as the vp of partnership development for Universal Parks & Resorts.  There, she led the strategic management of UPR's corporate, licensor and cross-platform relationships in North America, Europe and Asia.  She directed worldwide corporate partner programs for UPR, as well as the cross-divisional brand development of NBC Universal programming integration throughout Universal Parks & Resorts globally.

Testa joined Universal in 1998 as a brand manager in UPR.  She was promoted to director of marketing planning and development, then senior director of sales development, prior to being named senior director of synergy and licensed partners for UPR in 2002.
"Stephanie has proved herself integral in securing corporate alliances and brand partnerships that have delivered significant financial support across all divisions of Universal," Sperber said.
