'Union' label: TBS pilot for Williams, Levi


Ashley Williams and Zach-ary Levi have been cast as the leads in the TBS pilot "Imperfect Union." The workplace comedy is from Eric McCormack's Big Cattle Prods. The castings lift the contingency on the half-hour, single-camera project.

"Union," set at a switch factory, is described as a romantic comedy that centers on a young woman (Williams) who just took over the job as shop steward from her retired father, and a young man (Levi) who just took over as head of the factory from his father.

The project is based on an idea by McCormack and Michael Forman, his partner in Big Cattle, both of who are executive producing. Don Woodard and Tom Maxwell will serve as show- runner/executive producers in addition to writing.

Levi's credits include ABC's "Less Than Perfect" and the feature film "Big Momma's House 2."

Williams' credits include CBS' "How I Met Your Mother" and Showtime's "Huff."

Levi and Williams are repped by Endeavor. Levi is additionally repped by Hyler Management, and Williams also is repped by Brillstein-Grey Entertainment.
