UTA Helps Consumer Electronics Show Zero in on The Hollywood Crowd
2011 edition of the Las Vegas trade gathering to roll out new offers tailored to entertainment executives
NEW YORK - United Talent Agency has worked with the Consumer Electronics Show to help the annual January trade gathering in Las Vegas court Hollywood even more than in the past, the LA Times reported Tuesday.
The two came up with new offers designed for Hollywood's film, TV and digital executives. The new Entertainment Matters program launches at the 2011 CES, scheduled for Jan. 6-9, with a series of sessions designed for Hollywood, including discussions of ways to make money on emerging technologies, according to the Times.
Among other things, a Red Carpet program will offer guided showroom tours for about 2,000 studio executives, writers, directors and actors, as well as a lounge. Plus, a Hollywood Assistant's Program will put the spotlight on new technology trends for the next generation of executives.
About 6,000 entertainment executives attended the last CES, the Times said.
