Network to bow on Cablevision

MEXICO CITY -- Fox Latin American Channels has inked distribution deals to launch its 24-hour women's channel Utilisima in Mexico.

The network will bow on Televisa-owned Cablevision within two weeks, said Carlos Martinez, senior vp of Fox Latin American Channels. Pay TV distributor PCTV will be lining up additional carriage agreements nationwide.

The channel currently airs on pay TV systems in the U.S., Canada, Spain, Australia and various Latin American territories.

Martinez added that Fox is preparing a second season of its hit suspense series "Countdown."
