Uwe Boll, Brendan Fletcher Reteam for 'Rampage 2'

The "Rogue" star returns for the German filmmaker's sequel to the 2009 mass murder thriller.

TORONTO – Movie schlockmeister Uwe Boll has started rolling the cameras on his latest project, Rampage 2, with Rogue's Brendan Fletcher starring.

The sequel to the original 2009 mass murder thriller that also starred Fletcher is shooting over six days in Maple Ridge, British Columbia.

Rampage 2 has Fletcher returning as a man who takes over a TV station and holds a number of hostages as a political platform to awaken humanity, instead of for money.

The feature from the prolific German director, who shoots most of his movies in Vancouver, also stars Lochlyn Munro (Tomorrowland), Mike Dopud and Michaela Ross.

Rampage 2 is produced by Natalia Tudge.

Boll's earlier movie credits include House of the Dead, the video game adaptation Bloodrayne, Postal and the social drama Darfur.
