'Vacation' Red-Band Trailer: Ed Helms, Christina Applegate "Re-Do" Trip to Walley World

The preview of this summer's new version of the Chevy Chase classic pays tribute to the original and features a few remake jokes.

The Griswolds are going to Walley World — again.

In the red band trailer for this summer's Vacation remake, starring Ed Helms and Christina Applegate, Helms' grown-up Rusty Griswold decides to take his family on the memorable theme park-bound trip he went on with his parents.

"This family's in a rut," Helms' character announces while his two sons are fighting at the breakfast table. "We gotta shake things up. We're driving to Walley World."

The youngest kid is not so happy about that news, proclaiming, "This some bullshit right here."

Rusty, his wife (Applegate) and their eldest son then kick off a series of meta jokes about reboots.

"So you want to redo your vacation from 30 years ago?" she asks.

"This will be completely different," Rusty says.

"I've never even heard of the original vacation," his son says.

Rusty: "It doesn't matter. The new vacation will stand on its own."

This new trip already seems to feature a few risque laughs, including a chat between Rusty and his son about "rim jobs," and Chris Hemsworth's well-endowed Stone Crandall stopping by the Griswolds' room to make sure they're settled (and show off his physique).

The trailer also reenacts the original's car scene, this time with Helms' character distracted by another beautiful woman, but with far more disastrous results.

The movie was written and directed by John Francis Daley and Jonathan M. Goldstein and co-stars Leslie Mann as Rusty's sister, Audrey. Original Vacation parents Chevy Chase and Beverly D'Angelo make cameo appearances. Warner Bros.' New Line Cinema is releasing the film on July 29.
