VH1's Graver departs for 'other'


Fred Graver, VH1's former programming chief and creator of its series "Best Week Ever," is leaving the network. A VH1 spokesperson confirmed the news, first reported by Portfolio.com, that Graver has "left to pursue other opportunities." Graver, who joined VH1 in 1999 to launch its Web site, was named executive vp programming and production in May 2001 and segued into an independent production role as executive producer VH1 programming a year later. Along with creating "Best Week Ever," Graver had been working with Tina Imm, vp digital media at VH1, on Web site development.
