The country’s leading pay TV platform Cosmote TV will host the kid-friendly on-demand service.

Viacom International Media Networks is expanding further their reach into Southern Europe with the launch of Nick+ on Greece's leading pay TV platform Cosmote TV.

Cosmote TV subscribers can now access more than 400 hours of premium Nickelodeon content across streaming devices whenever they wish.

The family-friendly programming includes the latest episodes from hit shows including PAW Patrol, SpongeBob SquarePants, Shimmer and Shine and Dora the Explorer. Nickelodeon is currently distributed in Greece free-to-air and as a pay TV offering alongside MTV and VH1.

“Nickelodeon is one of the leading kids brands in Greece reaching thousands of families daily across all platforms, and we’re happy to partner with Cosmote TV to continue engaging even more local fans,” said David Urgell, senior vp strategy, content distribution and digital for Viacom International Media Networks’ Southern and Western Europe, Middle East and Africa.

“Partnering with the country’s top pay TV platform is an important step forward for our strategy in Greece, where our multiplatform distribution has increased significantly in the last year,” continued Urgell.

Viacom International Media Networks continues to unfold its multiplatform distribution strategy throughout Europe and Africa. Recent deals have included partnering with MTV+ Prime Video Channel on Amazon in Germany and Austria, with Vodafone for an SVOD deal for Nickelodeon in Turkey and with Aria View Nigeria Limited and MTN for multiple Viacom brands in Africa.
