Viacom Taps Executives to Oversee Paramount Channel, BET in International Markets

Jill Offman and Alex Okosi get expanded roles, both reporting to David Lynn, president and CEO of Viacom International Media Networks.

Viacom's Viacom International Media Networks unit has expanded the purview of two key executives.

Jill Offman has been promoted to the role of executive vp and will add oversight of The Paramount Channel to her current role as head of Comedy Central International and managing director of MTV U.K. and Comedy Central U.K.

Meanwhile, Alex Okosi, executive vp and managing director of VIMN Africa, will expand his role to include oversight of BET in all markets outside of the U.S.

In their newly expanded roles, both will report to David Lynn, president and CEO of VIMN. Offman will additionally also continue to report to James Currell, president and managing director of VIMN U.K., Northern and Eastern Europe, while Okosi will also continue to report to Raffaele Annecchino, president and managing director of VIMN Southern and Western Europe, Middle East and Africa.
