ViacomCBS' Noggin Subscription Service Launches on Amazon in Europe

The add-on offer on Amazon Prime Video Channels "is a key milestone for our streaming strategy in Europe," said David Lynn, president and CEO of ViacomCBS Networks International.

Noggin, the learning subscription service for pre-schoolers from ViacomCBS' Nick Jr., is launching on Amazon Prime Video Channels as an add-on subscription product in the U.K., France, Germany and Austria.

The entertainment company said that will "significantly" bolster the service's footprint across Europe. "Prime members who additionally subscribe to Noggin will be able to watch or download ad-free long- and short-form Nick Jr. content in their local languages," it said.

Pricing for Noggin (in addition to the Amazon Prime subscription fee will be £2.99 ($3.84) a month in Britain, €3.99 ($4.71) per month in France, and €3.89 ($4.59) in Germany and Austria.Noggin offers such pre-schoolers favorites as Dora the Explorer, PAW Patrol, and Go, Diego, Go, among others.

In the U.K., the Noggin service will replace More Milkshake!, which will continue as a separate brand within Noggin. More Milkshake! content includes such favorites as Peppa Pig."

Noggin, launched in the U.S. in 2015, is available across 23 markets in Europe via multiple platforms.
