ViacomCBS Taps Olivier Jollet to Oversee Digital Business in Europe, Asia

He will report to Raffaele Annecchino "as the company embarks on an aggressive phase of digital transformation."
ViacomCBS' ViacomCBS Networks International on Wednesday promoted Olivier Jollet to a new role heading up the company's digital business in Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia (EMEAA) as senior vp emerging business.
"As the company embarks on an aggressive phase of digital transformation," it said its EMEAA division, led by Raffaele Annecchino, president, ViacomCBS Networks EMEAA, has created a new dedicated unit "to drive its digital business and capture new opportunities focused on the pay and free streaming sector, as well as mobile business, advanced advertising and ViacomCBS Digital Studios International."
Jollet will be responsible for "developing and expanding the digital business" across the covered markets, reporting directly to Annecchino. "Olivier’s digital expertise and entrepreneurial approach are essential to driving growth in these critical areas of the business," said Annecchino.
Added Jollet: "I thoroughly look forward to growing scale and reach in these business areas and furthering the company’s digital transformation."
Jollet has been managing director, Europe for Pluto TV since 2016 and will also continue his work in that role. Prior to this, he worked at Watchever and Universal Music. He co-founded Quazer, a unique digital TV-like service and served as Managing Director until Quazer’s acquisition by Pluto TV in October 2016.
