Kit Harington Wavers Between Love and War in 'Testament of Youth' Trailer (Video)

The "Game of Thrones" actor stars opposite Alicia Vikander in the BBC Films World War I romantic drama, directed by James Kent.

Kit Harington is caught between a rock and a hard place in the Testament of Youth trailer — his fiancee, Vera Brittain (Alicia Vikander), and his duty to serve his country.

The Game of Thrones actor stars as Brittain's beau, Roland Leighton, in BBC Films' World War I-set romantic drama. David Heyman is producing, and James Kent, who has helmed episodes of Starz's The White Queen, is directing.

Testament of Youth, published in 1933, tells of how the author postponed her studies at Oxford to serve as a nurse in the Great War, during which she lost her fiance and brother. After the war, she tried to resume her life but found herself part of a lost generation, returning to Oxford and becoming a feminist and a writer.
