'MasterChef' Sneak Peek: NFL Hall of Famer's Surprise Appearance (Exclusive Video)

With only 10 home chefs remaining, an NFL legend is on hand to moderate a fierce competition in this clip, exclusive to THR.

The competition is heating up on the griddles and the gridiron as a legendary NFL hero drops by for the next episode of Fox's summer cooking show MasterChef.

The Hollywood Reporter presents an exclusive clip of this Monday's episode, with the 10 remaining home chefs preparing healthy snacks for a youth football game.

As seen in the clip, the chefs are surprised when Gordon Ramsay reveals that NFL Hall of Famer Eric Dickerson, who holds the league's single-season rushing record, is on hand for the event. "What kid did not grow up and want to be him?" contestant Leslie asked of Dickerson.

The chefs break into two groups to prepare food for everyone at the game. After both teams' dishes have been tasted, the team receiving the fewest votes will face the never-pleasant pressure test. This particular one will entail preparing three prawn dishes.

MasterChef airs Mondays at 8 p.m. on Fox.
