"You don't get it — we're already dead."

A second trailer for The Maze Runner has debuted, giving fans of the James Dashner dystopian novel a closer look at the mysterious Glade — and the boys who live there.

"No one has ever survived a night in the maze," Thomas Brodie-Sangster tells Teen Wolf's Dylan O'Brien. What happens to them? "We call them the grievers."

The Fox film centers on Thomas (O'Brien), a teenager who wakes up in a region — inhabited by roughly 50 other boys — that is surrounded by a deadly maze. He has no memory of his past, and does not know why he has been brought there.

The big-screen adaptation, directed by Wes Ball, also stars Kaya Scodelario, Will Poulter and Patricia Clarkson, among others.

The Maze Runner hits theaters Sept. 19. Watch the new trailer below.
