Tsarouchas played a taxi driver on Sullivan & Son, Vaughn's TBS comedy from Wild West Picture Show Productions and Warner Horizon Television.

The Angelo Show joins a developing slate of other local CTV comedies: Method, from Rookie Blue producers Ilana Frank, David Wellington, Gregory Smith and Sonia Hosko; Ungrown Up, from Funny as Hell's Adam Brodie, David Derewlany and Evi Regev (Bullet in the Face); and The Team, a multi-cam sitcom about a rag-tag group of friends from Canadian TV scribe Rob Sheridan.

The broadcaster is also developing an untitled Mark McKinney project from Breakthrough Entertainment, as well as Letterkenny, a comedy from indie producer New Metric Media and based on the popular YouTube series "Letterkenny Problems," with Jared Keeso attached.
