Nash Grier, the most followed person on the six-second video app, has been caught making disparaging remarks about gay people in a short clip that surfaced on Sunday.

Vine star Nash Grier has been caught in one of the app's six-second videos making a gay slur.

YouTube personality Tyler Oakley posted a clip featuring images from a TV commercial about HIV testing, with men saying that "testing for HIV is not a gay thing." Grier is then shown yelling, "Yes it is! F—!"

In two tweets about the clip (embedded below), Oakley wrote, "Promoting a false stereotype that HIV only affects gays to his millions of teen fans is extremely dangerous."

"Call me and people like me, 'f-g' all you want, but spreading false information about deadly diseases is next level," he added.

Grier later posted the below screengrab of him composing an apology for Twitter.

Grier has 8.7 million followers on Vine and 2.71 million followers on Twitter.

Vine, which is owned by Twitter, has not yet responded to The Hollywood Reporter's request for comment.
