Vision TV investing $15 mil into market

Localized Ukraine channel also in the works

MOSCOW -- Modern Times Group's satellite television operator Vision TV, which launched in Ukraine in April, plans to invest about $15 million in the country's market over the next two years, Hans-Holger Albrecht, Modern Times' president, told reporters in Kiev during his visit to Ukraine on Wednesday.

He added that the company also plans to launch a localized channel in Ukraine in the longer term. That channel is likely to be focused on history, just like Sweden's Viasat History.
