Visual Factory picks up two films

U.K. company lands 'Made in Hungaria,' 'Children of Glory'

BERLIN -- Visual Factory U.K. has acquired the French and Benelux rights to musical biopic "Made in Hungaria" and the Andrew Vajna-produced period Olympic sports drama "Children of Glory."

HungariCom handles the sales for both titles.

More Berlin coverage

"Hungaria," directed by Gergely Fonyo, follows the life of famous Hungarian pop singer Miklos Fenyo, whose family emigrated to America in the '60s, and who returned to Hungary as a teenager to establish a rebellious rock 'n' roll band.

The movie has already sold to Australia, Malaysia, Singapore, Brunei, Vietnam and Canada.

"Glory," set against the backdrop of the 1956 Hungarian Revolution, tells the tale of the Hungarian water polo team who beat the Russian team during the Melbourne Olympic Games.

The representation rights to the title were held by Fortissimo Films, with HungariCom coming on board very recently.
