Vittorio Cecchi Gori hospitalized

Was moved from minimum security prison

ROME -- Oscar-winning producer Vittorio Cecchi Gori has been moved from Rome's Regina Coeli Minimum Security Prison to the nearby Villa Margherita hospital for undisclosed health problems.

Cecchi Gori, 66, has been held at Regina Coeli since early June on issues related to €25 million ($39 million) in unpaid debt. Authorities said the producer behind "Life Is Beautiful" will be returned to his cell when his health improves.
