VMAs: Taylor Swift to Premiere "Look What You Made Me Do" Video

Swift's famous foe Katy Perry is hosting the MTV awards ceremony.

Could Katy Perry and Taylor Swift be planning to bury the hatchet at Sunday's Video Music Awards?

The hot rumor got a bit more steam on Friday morning when MTV announced that Swift would premiere the video for her new single "Look What You Made Me Do" on the show.

Perry, with whom Swift has famously feuded, is hosting the show and set to take the stage for her own performance.

Good Morning America debuted a short teaser of Swift's video on its Friday show. After introducing the teaser, ABC's Chris Connelly, himself an MTV alum, said the video would likely air early in the show.

The singer-songwriter released the dark single late Thursday night and shortly thereafter ABC unveiled a promo for its TGIT lineup of Grey's Anatomy, Scandal and How to Get Away With Murder set to the song.

"Look What You Made Me Do" is the first track off of Swift's highly anticipated new album, Reputation, out Nov. 10.

The MTV VMAs will air live from the Forum in Inglewood, Calif. on Sunday (Aug. 27) at 8 p.m. ET.
