Tonys: Patti LuPone, Christine Ebersole Perform "Face to Face" From 'War Paint'

Patti LuPone and Christine Ebersole joined forces at the Tony Awards with a performance of "Face to Face" from War Paint.
Both nominated for Tonys this year, the two stage legends star as rival makeup titans Helena Rubinstein and Elizabeth Arden in the new musical, which traces the parallel paths of two innovative women who worked their way up from humble roots to define beauty standards in the first half of the 20th century. Fierce competitors, they became the country's first major female entrepreneurs and built international empires in a business world dominated by men.
Directed by Michael Greif, the show is inspired by Lindy Woodhead's book of the same name and by the documentary The Powder & the Glory. It nabbed four Tony nominations.
Honoring the best of the Broadway season, the awards were handed out in a June 11 ceremony that aired live on CBS from New York City. Kevin Spacey made his debut as the annual event's emcee.
