Warner Bros. Digital inks VOD deal in Spain


MADRID -- Warner Bros. Digital Distribution and Spain's leading cable operator ONO announced Wednesday an agreement for ONO's VOD service Ojo that includes new releases like Zack Snyder's "300."

The agreement also covers catalog titles including "Ocean's 11," "Ocean's 12" and "The Matrix."

"For Warner Bros., it's a pleasure to announce this deal with ONO," Warner Bros. digital distribution international's senior vp Marc Gareton said.

"ONO has at this time a large number of VOD users in Spain, and thanks to this initiative, its clients will have access to Warner Bros. Digital Distribution whenever they want it, without waiting."

ONO boasts 3.7 million subscribers and 6 million users of its broadband services that include phone, Internet and television services.
