Venice Family Clinic has announced a pair of honorees for its upcoming 35th annual Silver Circle event: Sue Kroll and Dr. Jimmy H. Hara.

Kroll, Warner Bros. Pictures president of worldwide marketing and distribution, will be honored with the org's Humanitarian Award while Hara, a Venice Family Clinic veteran who has served as a volunteer physician, mentor and board member for more than 40 years, will also be lauded with the Irma Colen Leadership Award.

Venice Family Clinic's flagship fundraiser will take place at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills on March 26.

“Venice Family Clinic is proud to recognize Sue Kroll for her strong commitment, not only to the entertainment community but also to the community at large,” said Liz Forer, CEO of Venice Family Clinic. “Her tireless work ethic and lifelong love of film have not only helped drive incredible results at Warner Bros. but enriched the film industry as a whole. We are honored to have her support.”

Of Hara, Forer added: “Dr. Jimmy Hara has dedicated decades to Venice Family Clinic’s health care programs, strengthening our ability to provide quality health care to thousands upon thousands of people in need. Whether in the clinic or sitting amongst fellow board members, Dr. Hara has demonstrated a true commitment to Venice Family Clinic’s mission."

In her WB role, Kroll oversees marketing and distribution operations and collaborates closely with the company’s principals on the strategic development of its slate. In addition to her 22-year career at the studio, Kroll is an advocate for the arts, mentorship and other vital issues. She has previously been honored by American Cinematheque, Women in Film and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Los Angeles.

In addition to volunteering at community health centers, Hara is the founding director and advisory board chair of the Los Angeles Albert Schweitzer Fellowship, in addition to serving on board of directors of the Western Clinicians Network. His previous honors include the “David Lawrence Award for Community Service” by the Kaiser Foundation National Board of Directors. For the past three years, Hara has served as fire commissioner on the board of fire commissioners for the city of L.A.

The Silver Circle Gala will raise more than $1.5 million this year to fund Venice Family Clinic’s mission of providing quality primary health care to 24,000 low-income and uninsured men, women and children. Silver Circle is sponsored by Delta Air Lines, Kaiser Permanente, TravelStore and Warner Bros. Entertainment.
