Warner Bros. ups Susan Kantor

Will become executive vp marketing

Warner Bros. Domestic Television Distribution has reorganized its marketing structure into one unit for broadcast and cable, promoting Susan Kantor to oversee in the newly created position of executive vp marketing at WBDTD and Telepictures Prods.

As part of the restructuring, Kantor has named Debbie Brunner vp creative, Clint Manny vp marketing, Maury Leitner vp marketing and advertising and Shelley Clark manager of promotion.

The news follows January's announcement that Warner Bros. had integrated its domestic cable distribution division into WBDTD to form a single domestic TV distribution organization headed by president Ken Werner.

Kantor will have oversight of the unit responsible for all trade and consumer marketing and advertising campaigns for WBDTD's programming in addition to supporting sales efforts for WBDTD, Telepictures and Warner Bros. Media Sales. She will continue to report to Werner and will work closely with Telepictures president Hilary Estey McLoughlin and Warner Bros. Television Group exec vp worldwide marketing Lisa Gregorian.

Kantor had been senior vp marketing at WBDTD and Telepictures since January 2006. She also has held senior positions at Twentieth TV, VH1, USA Networks/Studios USA, Universal Television and Paramount Television.

Brunner was creative director at Flip Creative. Manny was senior vp sales and marketing at Sega Entertainment USA. Leitner was vp marketing at Warner Bros. Domestic Cable Distribution, while Clark was a manager in the promotions department Warner Home Video.
