Warner preps Western Classics Collection

Six newly remastered films headed to DVD

Warner Home Video is digging into its vault and bringing to DVD for the first time six Westerns, each newly remastered.

Featured in the Western Classics Collection, which hits stores Aug. 26, are "Escape From Fort Bravo," with William Holden; "Many Rivers to Cross" and "Saddle the Wind," both of which have never before been available on any home video platform, including VHS; the 1960 remake of "Cimarron," with Glenn Ford; "The Law and Jake Wade," also with Holden; and "The Stalking Moon," with Gregory Peck and Eva Marie Saint.
