'Games of Thrones'; 'The Handmaid's Tale'

'The Handmaid's Tale's' Samira Wiley and 'New Amsterdam's' Ryan Eggold are set to make the 2018 Emmy nominations announcement starting at 8:25 a.m. PT.

Nominations for the 2018 Emmy Awards will be announced Thursday at 8:25 a.m. PT. At that time, the Television Academy's formal announcement ceremony will start streaming live online (watch the 2018 Emmy Nominations below).

The Handmaid's Tale's Samira Wiley and New Amsterdam's Ryan Eggold are set to make the announcement. They will be joined by Television Academy chairman -CEO Hayma Washington and president-COO Maury McIntyre.

The hosts will read out the Emmy nominations for best drama, best comedy and more at the Academy's North Hollywood headquarters. After the announcement, check THR.com for the full list of Emmy nominees.

The 70th annual Primetime Emmys are set to air on NBC for the first time since 2014 on Monday, Sept. 17, again from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles. Saturday Night Live's Colin Jost and Michael Che are set to host.
