Dr. Drew Pinsky sang the national anthem before Saturday night's L.A. Kings hockey game at Staples Center in Los Angeles.

Donning a Kings jersey, the TV/radio personality performed "The Star-Spangled Banner" in an operatic style to an initially surprised but ultimately receptive crowd.

Pinsky told TMZ, which posted video of his performance, that he took vocal lessons in college and has continued to train.

Pinsky co-hosts the syndicated radio show Loveline as well as KABC's Dr. Drew Live Midday With Mike Catherwood along with various podcasts and the HLN show Dr. Drew on Call.
