Sarah Jessica Parker, Maggie Gyllenhaal and HBO Stars Go Silent for Rock the Vote Promo

"Right now, there's only one voice that needs to be heard. Yours," the video proclaims.

HBO's stars are mugging for Rock the Vote once more.

On Tuesday — National Voter Registration Day — HBO released its latest promo for the nonprofit advocacy group, which shows stars of its shows, including The Deuce, WestworldDivorce, Silicon Valley, Insecure, 2 Dope Queens and Camping, observing a moment of silence. After several sequences of stars staying quiet, the ad reads, "Right now, there's only one voice that needs to be heard. Yours." The video's call to action is for viewers to register to vote by texting an HBO-specific code to 788-683.

Maggie Gyllenhaal, Sarah Jessica Parker, Kumail Nanjiani, Lena Dunham, Ed Harris, Tony Hale, Jeffrey Wright, Yvonne Orji, Jay Ellis, Phoebe Robinson and Jessica Williams are among the network's stars who participated in the ad.

HBO is a longtime partner of Rock the Vote, having produced a video with Veep's Julia Louis-Dreyfus in character as Selina Meyer during 2016 that tackled "millennial voter apathy." (Be warned: The video contains Veep spoilers.)

Hollywood in general has turned out in force for this year's National Voter Registration Day, with MTV enlisting stars for its first-ever midterm election campaign, +1 the Vote. A coalition of entertainment companies including CAA, Bad Robot and AMC Theatres, meanwhile, helped promote voting at New York Fashion Week and the Emmys with "I Am a Voter" pins, which were worn by prominent celebrities.

For National Voter Registration Day, the Civic Culture Coalition is also organizing a "media shutdown" on participating organizations' social media pages, during which time messages from talent will encourage social media users to "Register While You Wait."
