Watch Jared Fogle Comment on 'To Catch a Predator' Suspects in 2008: "These Guys Continue to Fall for It"
Fogle recently agreed to plead guilty on child porn charges.
Former Subway pitchman Jared Fogle, who recently agreed to plead guilty on child porn charges, commented on sexual predators in a 2008 episode of VH1's I Love the New Millennium.
In the 40-minute episode, Fogle, who The Associated Press reported "agreed to plead guilty to allegations that he paid for sex acts with minors and received child pornography that he knew had been secretly produced by the former director of his charitable foundation," poked fun at To Catch a Predator suspects that were caught in the act, NY Daily News reported.
"These guys continue to fall for it every single time," Fogle says in the episode. "There must be like 100 million episodes of the show and these guys still come out."
In his plea agreement, Fogle will pay $1.4 million in restitution to 14 minor victims that will individually each receive $100,000. He will also be required to register as a sex offender, receive treatment for sexual disorders and will serve a prison sentence between five and 12 years.
The 37-year-old married father of two became Subway's pitchman after he shed 200 pounds while in college, which he credited in part to eating the chain's sandwiches.
On Aug. 18, Subway confirmed on via social media that they had ended their relationship with Fogle (the same day news broke of Fogle's expected guilty plea): "We no longer have a relationship with Jared and have no further comment."
