Christian Bale takes on the L.A. filmmaking world in Terrence Malick's movie

Christian Bale takes a rough ride through the world of show business in the moody trailer for Terrence Malick's Knight of Cups.

Bale stars in the film about the modern-day L.A. movie business — and all the celebrity, temptations and excess that come with it. The title co-stars Cate Blanchett, Natalie Portman, Brian Dennehy and Antonio Banderas.

Knight of Cups is in postproduction according to its backers, Film Nation, and does not yet have a release date.
