'Wendy Williams' has good debut

Scored a 600% increase over its lead-in on WNYW

Debmar-Mercury's syndicated talk show "The Wendy Williams Show" got off to a good start in its six-week preview on the Fox Television Stations.

The show won its 10 a.m. slot in New York on WNYW among women 18-34 (2.9 rating/19 share), 18-49 (2.1/14) and 25-54 (1.9/13). It also pulled in a 1.9 household rating/7 share, marking a 600% increase over its lead-in and a 250% increase from the performance of "Montel" in this slot during the May sweep.

In Los Angeles, the show finished second in the 1 p.m. slot on KTTV with a 0.8/2 among households.
