Wesley Snipes on 'Larry King' Before Prison

"We still have prayers out there," he says.

Wesley Snipes appeared on Larry King Live Tuesday night to discuss his impending prison sentence.

Due to turn himself in Thursday to begin a three-year sentence for tax evasion, Snipes (who was joined by his lawyer), said, "We still have prayers out there, Larry. We still believe in miracles. Don't send me up the river just yet.”

Snipes also said there was no political motivation behind him not filing a tax return.

“This is another thing that has been misreported: It has been framed that I was a conspirator and that I was an architect in a scheme by an organization that has been characterized as tax protesters," he said.
