Westboro Baptist Church to Picket Louisiana Shooting Victims' Funerals

"God Sent the Shooter AGAIN!" the church tweeted.
The Westboro Baptist Church says they will picket the funerals of victims who were killed in Thursday's theater shooting in Lafayette, Louisiana.
The radical, anti-gay church based out of Topeka, Kansas, has been known for picketing the funerals of military veterans. They preach that tragedies such as mass shootings are God's punishment for homosexuality.
"Warming up the picket signs for Lafayette Theater shooting victim funerals," a message reads on WBC's Twitter account.

A Twitter account that has been linked to the man identified as the shooter, 59-year-old John Russell Houser, previously praised the Westboro Baptist Church, writing in 2013, "The Westboro Baptist Church may be the last real church in America [members not brainwashed]."
Westboro distanced itself from Houser, tweeting he was not a member of their church, but released a video stating God sent him, along with the killers in other mass shootings.
In response to a message that Houser had expressed support for the church, a WBC tweet read, "Even a blind hog can find an truffle once in awhile!"
Houser killed two people and injured nine others, before turning a gun on himself on Thursday during a screening of Trainwreck.
