WGA Awards: Steve Carell, Patricia Arquette, Patrick Stewart Among West Coast Presenters

Bob Saget, Scott Foley, Adam Scott and James Corden will also hand out trophies at the L.A. ceremony.

Oscar nominees Steve Carell and Patricia Arquette, Bob Saget and Adam Scott are among the stars set to hand out awards at the West Coast ceremony of this Saturday’s Writers Guild Awards.

Other presenters include Patrick Stewart, incoming Late Late Show host James Corden, Cheryl Hines, Brooklyn Nine-Nine’s Chelsea Peretti and Terry Crews, Playing House’s Jessica St. Clair and Lennon Parham and Scandal’s Scott Foley, who will present the WGA’s TV laurel lifetime achievement award to Shonda Rhimes.

Additionally, Rescue Me co-creator Peter Tolan will present the WGAW’s screen laurel lifetime achievement award to late writer-director-actor Harold Ramis; TV writer and playwright Winnie Holzman will present the WGAW’s Paul Selvin award to Margaret Nagle for her screenplay for the Reese Witherspoon-starrer The Good Lie; and Cougartown co-creator Bill Lawrence will present the WGAW Morgan Cox award to TV writer-producer and WGAW showrunner training program co-founder Jeff Melvoin.

Ben Affleck is also set to receive the Valentine Davies award for his humanitarian efforts and Spanish filmmaker Pedro Almodovar will accept via video the Jean Renoir award for screenwriting achievement.

The 2015 WGA Awards will be handed out in simultaneous ceremonies in New York and L.A. on Saturday. Lisa Kudrow will host the West Coast ceremony while The Nightly Show’s Larry Wilmore will host the East Coast show.
