'White Ribbon' sweeps German Critics prizes

Also takes Cinema For Peace honor

BERLIN -- Now all that's missing is the Oscar.

Michael Haneke's Palme d'Or, European Film Prize and Golden Globe-winning "The White Ribbon" Monday night picked up a few more trophies for its collection: German Film Critics' honors for best film, best screenplay, best cinematography and best actor for Burghart Klaussner as well as the Cinema For Peace honor for most valuable film of the year.

Haneke's black and white drama is a favorite next month to win the Academy Award for best foreign language film.
