Among those celebrating with the Cleveland Cavaliers on Sunday at Oakland's Oracle Arena after the team's first-ever NBA championship was Usher.

LeBron James led the Cavs to a 93-89 win over the Golden State Warriors in Game 7 of the NBA Finals.

After, viewers got a glimpse of Usher celebrating on the court alongside the players.

The reason he was such a big part of the celebration? A decade ago, Usher bought a small stake in the Cavaliers.

"I know I have the talent to entertain," the singer told Forbes magazine in 2005, not long after he acquired the stake in the team. "Now I just want to be a great businessman."

According to Forbes, Usher even played a role in helping convince James to return to Cleveland in 2014. Usher reportedly went on Twitter to convince James to come back after having switched to the Miami Heat in 2010. A day later, James announced he'd be returning to the Cavs.

Usher has been seen at the games this season, even hanging out with the Warriors after they beat Cleveland in Game 4. He posted a video analysis of the game afterward.

Usher also sang the National Anthem in Game 4 of the 2015 NBA Finals, which Cleveland ultimately lost to Golden State.
