William Shatner on his toes for doc fest

His 'Gonzo Ballet' opening Canadian festival

MONTREAL -- William Shatner's "Gonzo Ballet" will open the DocFest Stratford festival in October.

The documentary, which chronicles Shatner's collaboration in a Milwaukee Ballet production, comes five decades after the Canada-born actor first acted for three seasons at the Stratford Shakespearean Festival.

The festival will close with "Every Little Step," the Sony Pictures Classics doc about auditioners' struggles to get on board a Broadway revival of "A Chorus Line."

Shatner and members of the Broadway "A Chorus Line" cast will attend the Ontario festival, which is set to run Oct. 21-25.
