Williams expands bi-coastal talent firm

NEW YORK - Montel Williams is expanding his talent management firm Letnom Management, which he launched less than two years ago.

Letnom, founded in Feb. 2005, has so far concentrated on representing comedians and TV hosts. With the expansion, it will now be a full-service, bi-coastal management firm for talent in all areas.

Nancy Goldman in New York will oversee the expansion of Letnom, with Eric Hanson remaining head of the firm's comedy and hosting divisions here.

In a staff addition, Dan Cotoia will run a newly created youth/under-30 practice. Jennifer Roe will continue to oversee the L.A. office and also take on oversight over a new motivational speaker/expert division.

Letnom said it will also launch a New Faces department for beginning talent, as well as a commercial division.

"As a small, boutique agency, our clients have been extremely successful - from booking national commercials to lead roles on sitcoms," Williams said in a statement. "With our diverse resources and experience, there is no doubt in my mind that we can expand on that success as a larger firm."

He added that the firm's main goal is to "sign talent that is dedicated and willing to grow."

Letnom Management also said in its statement Monday that its expanded work will focus on "creating brands" for clients while "developing them for television and film projects" in conjunction with Williams's Letnom Productions.
