Wings' 'Band on the Run' set for re-release

Remastered four-disc set with photo book due in Nov.

Paul McCartney's Grammy-winning 1973 Wings album "Band on the Run" is about to get a second run. It was announced on his official website Thursday, reports Reuters, that the classic is slated for re-release in November in various remastered versions.

The cornerstone release will be a four-disc box set packaged with a 120-page book of photos by the musician's late wife Linda McCartney and an audio documentary.

The ex-Beatle launched Wings with Linda in 1971 following his split with the Fab Four. Before disbanding 10 years later, Wings released nine albums, including their third, "Band on the Run," which sold over seven million copies.

The "Band on the Run" reissue is due Nov.1 in the U.K., and Nov. 2 in America.
