Winners of Kinotayo Japanese Film Fest Announced in Paris
"Someday," "My Wife" and "Into the White Night" get gongs.
TOKYO – Junji Sakamoto’s Someday (Ooshikamura Soudouki) took the Soleil d’or Kinotayo prize at the sixth edition of the Kinotayo digital Japanese film festival in Paris at the weekend.
The Soleil d’or IF Télévision went to Yukinari Hanawa’s My Wife (Shiniyuku Tsuma to no Tabiji) at the festival, which wraps on Tuesday, having unspooled on Nov. 8.
The Soleil d’or de la plus belle image NIKON prize for cinematography went to Into the White Night (Byakuyako) by Fukagawa Yoshihiro, a Gaga/Wowow joint production which premiered at the 2010 Tokyo International Film Festival.
