Winona Ryder hospitalized after flight

Publicist says actress is fine after undisclosed illness

LONDON -- Winona Ryder's publicist said the actress was hospitalized briefly after falling ill on a flight to London's Heathrow Airport.

Publicist Mara Buxbaum said Ryder, 37, was taken to a west London hospital as a precaution Wednesday but has been released and is fine. Buxbaum declined to go into details of Ryder's illness.

British Airways said a flight from Los Angeles to Heathrow requested priority landing when a female passenger the carrier did not identify required medical attention.
