'Wizard' cleared in 84% of the country


Disney-ABC Domestic Television has cleared its upcoming syndicated series “Wizard’s First Rule” in 84% of the country, including all of the top 50 markets.

In addition to launch group Tribune Broadcasting Co., the scripted, first-run, live-action weekly series has now been sold to stations from broadcast groups including CBS Television Stations, Sinclair, Hearst-Argyle Television, Clear Channel Broadcasting, Gannett Broadcasting, Hubbard Broadcasting, Post-Newsweek Stations, Scripps Howard Broadcasting, Belo Corp., LIN Broadcasting, Weigel Broadcasting, Sunbelt Communications, Acme Television and Barrington Broadcasting.

Disney has not yet announced casting for the one-hour series, which is produced by ABC Studios.
