WMA's Rautbort and clients land at 3 Arts

Former TV lit agent moves into management

Former WMA TV lit agent Alan Rautbort has joined 3 Arts Entertainment, transitioning into management after 11 years as an agent.

Rautbort, who was among the more than 100 WMA staffers that departed in the fallout of the agency's merger with Endeavor, retained most of his clients and is bringing them to 3 Arts.

The list includes "United States of Tara" executive producer Jill Soloway, "Rescue Me" co-executive producer Evan Reilly, "Damages" co-executive producer Aaron Zelman as well as Thania St. John ("Drop Dead Diva"), Eric Haney ("The Unit"), Michael Caleo ("Rescue Me"), Lauren Gussis ("Dexter"), Daisy Gardner ("Californication"), Howard Kremer & Brad Pope ("The Goode Family"), Tracy McMillan ("Tara") and playwright Daniel Keleher.

Rautbort called joining 3 Arts "a natural fit, as far as philosophy and personality."

Added 3 Arts partner Michael Rotenberg, "We have worked with him many times over the years, and we share similar taste and a desire to help our clients create and execute their ideas through all media."
